Providing a cost-effective alternative to centralised systems, our revolutionary shear spray system is rated to operate on a single production line with features to ensure a reduction in oil and water consumption, and give a more reliable gob sharing operation. 

One or more of these units can be linked to other Graphoidal modules to control bacteria, acidity, pressure and temperature to meet individual water preparation and distribution requirements. 

Shear Spray systems are available in oil and water or oil and air formats.

 

MULTI SHEAR SPRAY UNIT

The Graphoidal Multi-SSU Shear Spray System provides a cost effective alternative to centralized systems. Rated to operate on multiple production lines, it provides oil savings and a reliable gob shearing operation, with precise, automatic on-line digital ratio control, up to 2,000:1. 

It can be linked to other Graphoidal modules to control bacteria, acidity, pressure and temperature, to provide water preparation and distribution to meet individual requirements. 

Multi-SSU Shear Spray systems are available in oil and water or oil and air formats.

 

SHEAR SPRAY BARS

Shear spray application is a small but critical part of the glass forming process. By controlling the pressure and flow of the air and the lubricating emulsion, Graphoidal Shear Spray bars create a fine atomized mist, which wets the shear blades very effectively and provides the most efficient method of blade cooling. 

A wide range of Spray bars and mounting assemblies is available to suit all types of applications, including custom made configurations.

 

SCOOP SPRAY

The revolutionary Graphoidal Scoop Spray Plates mean that 100% of the lubricant is sprayed directly into the gob distributor providing optimum lubrication and cooling of the scoops with no waste. 

Mounted directly over the gob distribution. These simple, efficient devices are available in a range of versions to suit every application
