Technical Yarns
Thermal Insulation
We use three spinning technologies:
- Carded spinning to produce our VHTC yarns (standard 625 to 2,000 tex) and our thinner aramid or PBO yarns (standard 72 and 125 tex) that must be both hard-wearing and resistant to abrasion.
- BAC spinning, used to produce very coarse yarns (standard 5,000 to 40,000 tex), with a very low package density, a high impregnation capacity and a low thermal conductivity.
- Dref 3000 spinning, which is used to produce closely mixed composite yarns suitable for impregnation and, for example, the manufacture of heat sealing packing materials (standard 125 to 1,000 tex).
